FMEPM Connect is live, in beta

Today I am opening FMEPM Connect. It links Claude to your own Oracle Cloud EPM. Every call passes a policy check. Risky writes ask for your confirmation first. Every call is logged. The hosted edition is live today, in beta, and access comes through sales@fmepm.com.

Three setups for AI and Oracle EPM, and who handles your numbers in each

There are three ways to set up an outside AI assistant with Oracle EPM. Each one gives a different answer to who handles your numbers.

  1. 1HostedThe vendor runs the connector
  2. 2In your cloudYou run the connector
  3. 3PrivateYou run the connector and the app
Setup 1

Hosted.

Available today, in beta.

The vendor runs the bridge. The AI company runs the AI.

Three operators: you, the vendor and the AI company.

Setup 2

In your cloud.

For customers, by engagement.

You run the bridge in your own cloud account. The AI company still runs the AI.

Setup 3

Private.

For customers, by engagement.

You run the bridge in your network and the app on your laptop. The AI engine is called through your own cloud account.

The same three rules

In all three setups:

  1. Oracle applies the roles of the account that signed in.
  2. Risky changes wait for a person.
  3. Every call is logged.

If a setup cannot give you all three, it is not ready for finance.

How to choose

Three questions.

  1. What does your AI policy allow today?
  2. Does unreleased data go in?
  3. Who runs servers for finance?

None of the three setups is wrong. They fit different security policies.

FMEPM Connect, live today in beta

FMEPM Connect links Claude to your own Oracle Cloud EPM. The hosted edition is live today, in beta, and it works with Claude today.

Thirty-four seconds of it at work, recorded on October 15, 2026:

Thirty-four seconds. One account, three months, read from a live Oracle EPM application. December is changed by hand in Oracle. Asked again, the assistant reads the application a second time and reports December up from 3,465.97 to 4,500.00, a rise of 1,034.03, with October and November unchanged. It shows a fresh read; the explanation around a number is still yours to review.

You sign in with your company Microsoft account, then add your Oracle EPM environment with Oracle SSO or credentials. Personal accounts are not accepted.

Adding it to Claude takes one minute. The clip was recorded on the hosted edition on October 20, 2026, on sample data in the FMEPM demo environment:

  1. In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector.
  2. Name it FMEPM Connect and paste https://mcp.fmepm.com/mcp
  3. Click Add and sign in with your company Microsoft account.
  4. In a new chat, ask Claude to use the FMEPM demo environment.

On Claude Team and Enterprise, an admin adds the connector once for everyone.

To request access, email me at sales@fmepm.com. What it does and who it is for is on the FMEPM Connect page. The product site is mcp.fmepm.com.

October 21, 2026: listed on Microsoft Marketplace.
