FMEPM Connect links Claude to your own Oracle Cloud EPM pod. Ask a question in your own words. Every figure comes from Oracle, with its point of view and the time it was read. The explanation around it is yours to review.

MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is the open standard that lets an AI assistant such as Claude use outside tools and data. FMEPM Connect is that connector for Oracle Cloud EPM. Claude asks, the connector checks your policy, reads or writes as the person who signed in, under their own Oracle permissions, and brings the answer back with its point of view and the time it was read.
I changed a number in Oracle EPM. Is the AI's answer still right?
Thirty-four seconds. One account, three months, read from a live Oracle EPM application. December is changed by hand in Oracle. Asked again, the assistant reads the application a second time and reports December up from 3,465.97 to 4,500.00, a rise of 1,034.03, with October and November unchanged. It shows a fresh read; the explanation around a number is still yours to review.
The demo runs on sample data. Every number on screen names its point of view and the time it was read.
The answer comes with the numbers behind it: the accounts and the periods that moved, read from your pod, with a reference you can check.
The job, its status, its log lines and the error text, as data. The admin reads the cause without opening the console.
A risky change shows what it will do before it runs. An operation outside the policy is refused, with the reason and the next step.
There are three ways to set up an outside AI assistant with Oracle EPM. Each one gives a different answer to who handles your numbers. The same three rules apply in all three: Oracle applies the roles of the account that signed in, risky changes wait for a person, and every call is logged.

FMEPM Connect's hosted edition is live today, in beta. The three setups in full, and how to choose →
When you ask an AI about your plan, the numbers make four stops: your Oracle pod, the connector, the app you type in, and the model. Each stop has an operator who can keep a record. The article walks through all four, who runs each one and what it keeps: Where your Oracle EPM numbers go when you ask an AI.
One connector in Claude, your company Microsoft account, and a question. No new passwords, nothing to install.
Fifty seconds, recorded on the hosted edition on October 20, 2026. Everything in the clip runs on sample data in the FMEPM demo environment.
https://mcp.fmepm.com/mcpOn Claude Team and Enterprise, an admin adds the connector once for everyone. Your own Oracle EPM environment is added on mcp.fmepm.com once your trial is on, with Oracle SSO or your credentials, never typed into a chat.
The thinking behind FMEPM Connect, newest first. The two videos show the open-source server that came before it; the hosted edition on this page is the same idea, run for you. The one-minute setup above was recorded on the hosted edition.
The three setups for AI and Oracle EPM, and who handles your numbers in each.
Four stops on the way to an answer. What each one keeps, who runs it, and the question to ask.
What your agent can see inside Oracle EPM is your design. Ten questions to check before you connect.
OAuth, the MCP risks, how the models rank, and what your auditors will ask.
Install the open-source server, configure Claude Desktop, ask in your own words. The do-it-yourself route.

The open-source core is free and self-managed. FMEPM Connect is the hosted and supported edition. The MCP spec change and what it meant for Oracle EPM agents. Every AI feature Oracle ships is in the monthly reviews. The consulting side, custom integrations and workshops, is on AI for Finance.
Answered in the product's own words, as on mcp.fmepm.com.
Yes. I am FMEPM Connect, a hosted MCP connector. Sign in with your work Microsoft account, add your Oracle EPM connection, and Claude reads your pod through me. With your confirmation, Claude changes data in the pod too.
Yes. FMEPM Connect, at mcp.fmepm.com. I come with a free demo environment on sample data, so you can try me before you connect your own pod.
I encrypt Oracle credentials with a key the database does not hold. I keep an activity log of who called which tool, when and the outcome, never cell values. I keep a fingerprint of each result for 14 days by default, so a repeat read can say what changed without keeping the numbers. I keep the numbers only when your admin turns on result reuse. I also keep your policies, saved definitions, feeds and schedules.
Trials run on the hosted service, which keeps its data in Canada. For customers, FMEPM can run it in your own cloud, in the region you choose. Your conversation with the AI app is processed by the AI company under your agreement with them; I never send it Oracle credentials.
