Oracle EPM Cloud introduced the Job Scheduling Console as the modern way to schedule and manage Data Management (DM) and integration jobs. This guide walks through how to use it and how to migrate existing DM jobs to the new console.
Why Move to Job Scheduling Console
The Job Scheduling Console provides a centralized, browser-based interface for scheduling integration jobs that previously required EPM Automate scripts or external schedulers. It supports Data Management rules, business rules, and other recurring operations — all from within the EPM Cloud workspace.
Migrating Existing Jobs
If you have existing Data Management jobs configured through legacy scheduling methods, the transition to Job Scheduling Console involves recreating the schedules within the new interface. The console supports the same rule execution parameters, including data load rules, integration-specific settings, and notification options.
Practical Considerations
The Job Scheduling Console gives EPM admins better visibility into job execution history, error tracking, and scheduling conflicts. It reduces dependency on external infrastructure for running scheduled operations.
